Lasting Contributions

There are several ways to make a lasting contribution in honor of loved ones.
Yahrzeit Plaques
Losing a loved one is probably one of life’s most difficult trials. While the loved one lives on in our own personal memories, some of us seek ways to honor this person with a tangible memorial.
A yahrzeit plaque may be purchased in memory of a loved one, whether or not the deceased was a member of Beth Meyer Synagogue.  Each plaque will accommodate the name of one person. Individual memorial plaques are available for $360 each and are placed on the yahrzeit walls in the rear of the sanctuary. The plaques are lit on the anniversary of a person’s yahrzeit and on Yom Kippur.

The form and payment can be returned to the synagogue office.  Or, you can make payment on-line using a credit card and return the form separately.  In that case, please note somewhere on the form that payment was made via the website.

Seat Plaques
You may also honor a special friend or family member, commemorate a special occasion, or remember a loved one by purchasing a seat plaque in the main sanctuary.  These plaques are available for $720 each. This includes up to four lines of text.  The size of the font is determined by the number of characters on the longest line.
